Sharon drove the entire way to Las Vegas! We had some serious climbs as well as spectacular scenery. We pulled into the Circus Circus KOA just before dark. The children are amazed at everything Vegas has to offer. The campground is a huge paved parking lot with full hook-ups added. Montana loves the enclosed dog run. We had dinner last night at Chinois (Wolfgang Puck) at Caesar's Palace. The kids got to see the show and we had $8.00 gelatos! It was quite late by the time we got to bed so we absolutley enjoyed sleeping in this morning till 9 am.
We have a line up of things we want to see including the white tigers at the Mirage and with the beautiful warm weather, we all want to take a dunk in the heated pool today. We are excited about our dinner tonight at Postrio, another Wolfgang Puck restaurant where Uncle Rob's brother is the head chef. Uncle Rob has hooked us up for dinner tonight so we will post again about that experience which we anticipate to be pretty darn awesome! If you go to the Venetian website and click on their restaurants, you will see Postrio and you can read the bio on John LaGrone. http://www.venetian.com/venetianeng/Assets/Files/postrio.pdf Pretty cool! The kids have always had Uncle Rob in a fishbowl and think it strange that he has a brother, a sister and parents. It's cute. We're off on our Vegas adventures. We'll do one more posting tonight and hit the road in the morning.

Hi Bill, Sharon and kids! Uncle Rob's big sister Laurie here. I was tipped off that you have a trip blog -- and it's a great one, by the way -- so I thought I'd pay you a visit. Congratulations on your move and on Bill's upcoming change of command. I know Uncle Rob is eager to visit you in your new/old home!
Also, we've tried to keep Uncle Rob in a fish bowl but he keeps getting out, sigh.
Cheers to all of you, and safe travels!
Laurie
