We're on the road again! We made great time on day one with all our stops: commissary, Dunkin Donuts, Jessup weigh station, Triangle RV to fix 2 drawers....
We made it into West Virginia and overnighted just 5 miles from Butcher Holler, Loretta Lynn's birthplace.
We got up early on day two and headed to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. We had a great time seeing the Man O War memorial, all the beautiful horses and the history of the horse capital of the world. It was also good to get some exercise. We made sandwiches in the trailer for lunch and hit the road again towards Tennessee. We had dinner at Ruby Tuesday and got into Nashville around 8:40 pm but then realized we had crossed into the Central Time Zone and it was really 7:40 pm! (our bodies said otherwise) The kids settled down by reading in their bunks and Bill is putting together his new fancy gas grill that hooks onto the side of the trailer. We plan on cooking our own steaks for dinner tomorrow night.
Montana is doing great. As soon as we get going, she sits up tall and watches out the front windshield to make sure we are going the right direction. Then she eventually screws herself into a ball and goes to sleep. She knows the second we get off at an exit and usually gets up and licks the daddy on his ear to let him know she is paying attention. She is a great traveller and makes us laugh every day.
We plan on stopping to see my uncle in the morning. I haven't seen him since I was a teenager. He is in his 90's now and looking forward to meeting his baby brother's grandchildren for the 1st time. After that, we will head towards Memphis. Hope all who are reading this are doing well. We miss all of you but it hasn't really sunk in completely yet that we have left. We all feel like we're just on another camping trip. Love you.

Hi - I guess I am the first to respond! Miss you all! Hard to believe that your no longer just 18 minutes up the road and are actually gone. Enjoy the trip. Drive safely and thanks for the past 3.5 years!
